Once Upon A Time

I've been watching Once Upon A Time these few days and it is very addictive! I had just finished watching Season 2 and I couldn't wait to start the third season although I have no idea when I've got the time to actually watch it since it's the study week and then brace yourselves, finals are coming. However, the plot is twisted and it makes everything so interesting that I couldn't stop watching. *gan jeong-ing*

Actually, I'm not a firm believer of fairy tales. I don't really fantasized about magic or castles or kingdoms or those princes and princesses. I don't believe in love at first sight. And I certainly don't believe in happily-ever-after. The whole series is so cheesey especially during the love at first sight, true love's kiss or the happily-ever-after part. I felt so out of space watching those. I mean, whoa, slow down. It is a process of brainwashing, for certain.

Prince Charming? Like, seriously? I mean, how often will you see a knight riding a white horse just happen to take a look at you, fall for you, you both kiss and then wham! True love. Like, what the heck? And why the hell would you let a stranger kiss you in the first place anyways? LOL. And the happpily-ever-after bullshit? Whoa. Okay. But, are you really sure about being forever happy?

Anyways, there are a lot of conflicts, misunderstandings and unhappiness in relationships which I have seen. I used to be jealous of others, being happily in love and they have found their one true love. Those happy stuffs are merely on the surface, once they had gotten deeper and more attached, things started to change. Relationship isn't easy to maintain and if one of them isn't willing to stay, then the whole thing will be ceased to exist. What if you fall for another person? What if you are not willing to leave your spouse but you want to spend time with the other person you fall for? Why are you holding on to two people, knowing you will hurt both of them because you are one selfish bastard/bitch? A relationship is only meant for two person and I am sorry for not being able to understand complicated relationships. I believe there is only one spot in heart for that someone special and putting two in that cramp space isn't going to work. You will have to throw either one of them or both will have to leave.

Also, I found there is something worth thinking about. Does it really matter if your loved ones forgotten about a date? I laughed at a couple once when I saw her being really upset just because her boyfriend had forgotten to wish her "Happy Valentines" on the 14th. Note: She has always wishes him every month on the 14th but she waited for him to take the initiative but he had totally forgotten about it and they had arguments about it. Whoa. Okay. Maybe I'm not into those "Valentines" thing, but I think the arguments are totally unnecessary.

As for now, I stopped being jealous at other people. And I am really, really grateful to have him in my life. My one and only Prince Charming, my true love and my happily-ever-after. I know it's ironic but I just have to end the post with something relevant to my title anyways XD Ciao, people.

Assignments, Food and Life

My blog has been in a hiatus state for almost two months thanks to my busy schedule and my super powerful procrastination behaviour is really hard to overcome. It is the last week of the semester, before the study week and finals, and I am almost done with everything, except the SLA video presentation and drama performance, which is on Wednesday night. I'd get the video done before Friday, the day when I will be back to my beloved home in Ipoh. Assignments are harder than usual and the most procrastinating moment I had this semester was when I got my SLA assignment done 15 minutes before the deadline. Talked about being lazy.

I've trimmed my hair at my old tuition buddy's saloon after the honeymoon trip with my love and he introduced me to use the shampoo and hair conditioner so my hair would not fall so much. I'm still using them and I think my hair stops falling as much as before. They're nice but quite expensive.

I injured my arm badly during the archery practice because I hold the bow too straight. Yes, it was painful. And yes, it took more than a week to heal with the cream brother gave me.

Love and I went to try out the new cafe Teaz but the food ain't nice. It was too salty and the drink was terrible. There wouldn't be next time for us. He had fun bullying me while we waited for the food to come.

Speaking of food, I had dinner date with mother at 玉福满 for dimsum. Yummy. Too bad it was only the two of us or else we'd have more dishes.

I had lunch date with my roommate too, at Hitz Cafe. The cheese baked rice was good, but I preferred my love's creation. He used black pepper sauce, which tasted way better.

Just the other day, I had breakfast at Mc Donald's alone after sending mother to bus station before I went to church. #foreveralone

However, lunch with love was different. We had Bak Kut Teh and tried "The Thousand Layer Intestines". It was nice and for someone who didn't eat any inner body parts of animals, Yours Truly had two of those intestines. Hahaha~

I had another lunch date with roommate at Umi Sushi and the ramen was like, WTF large portion. I couldn't finish it and the beansprouts were seriously too much. The sushi wasn't nice either because the rice wasn't compact enough. Sigh.

Oh, there was another time I had dinner date with my BFF but I didn't take picture with her or the food we had. We had dinner at Sushi Tei, the salmon and croquette were nice, although they were quite pricey. At least it was many times better than Umi Sushi anyway.

By the way, I have a news to make: I am officially a grandmother on 22nd November. Three healthy hoglets were born that day. And I have not seen them for almost three weeks. FML. I missed my son, my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren. Sometimes I saw my love's sister posting videos and pictures of them and I was like, totally crushed for not being there.

I think these totally sum up my hiatus moment for the last two months. I might update another blog about another thing entirely so keep an eye on my post. Ciao.

Random Proposal Post

That day, we were having lunch at KFC and there was a couple talking about proposal and marriage. She told him that putting the ring in the food is a romantic way to propose, as long as she doesn't accidentally bite/swallow/choke on the ring. *Look of disgust on my face* Boyfriend told me that they might just gotten together because normally couples who just started dating would talk about proposal and their expectations.

I remembered about his "proposal" on Yellow Rose Day 2013. He came and brought along a bouquet of red rose and another bouquet of cash rose. Then, he knelt down on the floor to "propose" to me. And he even "borrowed" my ring so he could wear it on my ring finger. Epic~

The day after the KFC encounter, we were watching drama at his house and there was another proposal going on in the scene. Love was like, "Baby, next time we'll just watch drama and if there's a proposal scene comes up, I shall ask you whether you want to get married. Then you'd say yeah. And I'll tell you I'd go buy ring tomorrow and let's pick a date to get married after the drama ends."

Now, I can conclude that our relationship has surpasses all those awkward zone and we are sinking into the depth of the comfort zone. Hahaha~ And FYI, we are not getting married any sooner until I graduate, I think. And there's no proposal going on at all :P

Here's a picture of my babies. Peace out. Ciao.

爱你依你,爱你一世

In conjunction with our 590 days of being together, we went to two places for our honeymoon. Hahaha~ Okay, I was just crapping. I had a week's worth of midterm break and he decided to go for a vacation to Pantai Remis and Sitiawan. At first, we wanted to go on Thursday since it would be less people because of the night market, but it was the second day of Deepavali and he predicted it would be lots of people around. In the end, I canceled my outing with Eberwein and I felt so guilty about it since she rejected other friends' invitation. Sorry, BFF.

Destination #1: Pantai Remis Cafe, Pantai Remis.

The journey to Pantai Remis was quite dangerous because it was raining and love couldn't really see well in the dark with the rain splattered on the windshield. The dinner was quite delicious (XO Fried Udon Mee & Cheese Baked Chicken Chop Rice) and the lady boss was very friendly. She refused to let him pay because she said he came all the way here just to see her. Hahaha~ He was her ex chef :3

Destination #2: CT Hotel, Sitiawan

I drove all the way to Sitiawan after dinner and found a hotel nearby to stay for the night. After checking-in, we drove around to see the places while waiting for his friend to guide us. Unfortunately, he was busy cutting hair and dyeing, so we walked from one end of the hotel to the other end, whereby we stopped by every shop to window-shop. The picture above was taken the next morning, whereby we were tired and still sleepy so we looked kind of retarded.

Destination #3: Euro Houz, Sitiawan

His friend brought us for a jug of beer since the pub would be closed in 20 minutes time.
They decided to play pool and I was drooling when I stared at love playing.
Hehehe~

Then, they decided to play darts and I was like,
"Why me first? Damn, it doesn't even hit any target~"
while love took out his phone and snapped a picture of me looking like that.
Gosh.

Love's无影手~

The pub was decorated with halloween-based theme.

Love's "high" face after two glasses of beer. LOLOLOL~

My arms looked fat here. Ugh. And yuck, that was a foot.

Destination #4: Tua Pek Kong Temple, Sitiawan

I let him try the Foo Chow Kwong Pian but it was totally different from the ones in Sibu.

The Kolo Mee was different too.
Where was the minced meat? Where was the char siew?

Rooster: both our Chinese Zodiac.

So, the monkey was holding her child while eating banana
and my love was carrying my bag while eating Tau Fu Fah.
Hahaha~ Epic

到此一游!

We will be back after this has finished built :)

Destination #5: MissU Cafe, Sitiawan

We visited his childhood buddy and earned a free piece of
Strawberry Yogurt Cheese Cake.

Destination #6: Turtle Breeding Farm, Segari

The sea behind us and the sun in front of us. Gahhh~

Turtles. Cute turtles. Tiny turtles. Big turtles.

That, my friends, is how turtle remains in position after staying afloat.
SO CUTE!

Love sat on a turtle replica. HAHA~

 Holding a baby turtle~

 Wheee~ Kawaii :3

That was a HUGE turtle!

Destination #7: Pantai Remis Cafe, Pantai Remis (Again)

We had lunch before ending our honeymoon. The lunch wasn't as great as the dinner but overall, it was satisfactory. The journey back to Ipoh was quite rough too because it rained really heavily and I couldn't really see properly. Other than that, I enjoyed driving fast and overtaking cars. Ngek ngek ngek. Can I drive to Tanjung Malim on Sunday? HEHEHE~

P.S. I managed to fit into the shorts love bought for me quite a long time ago.
*proud face*

Hyper Bull

I planned to update my blog for quite some time already but I just couldn't find a time to do so. A friend of mine posted something random on my wall which made me cracked up although my mood was on the cranky side. It was about "If your husband is a chef, please do read this post with care" and I was thinking of doing brief translation about the points given. The original post can be read here.

Do not blame him if...
...he is busy working and does not pick up the phone.
(He'd text me once he's free though...)
...you're sick and he isn't available to take care of you.
(He'd take care of me before his working time...)
...he's not free during holidays and still have to work.
(Yes, I understand that and I'm the one who is around to help so he has less burden...)
...he can't be there to celebrate your anniversary.
(Never mind, I'll be there for him...)
...he is tired and releases his anger at you but do not try to pick fight with him.
(He is tired but he will never release his anger at me
although sometimes I do pick fight with him...)

However...
Do learn to understand and tolerate him.
(Always do although I do vent, sometimes XD)
Do not dislike him for having rough hands which are full of scars.
(Those are signs of MACHO-NESS!!!)

After reading this, I felt like I have the need to share pictures of him cooking. And yes, I'm a happy chubby girl thanks to him for feeding me nonstop.

The ingredients...

Look at the handsome who is cooking with serious face~
*drools*

Taadaa!
His own creation: Genghis Khan Fried Rice.
Named so because there are mutton in the rice~

P.S. I blog less because Facebook is turning into my blog. Hahaha~ And everything you find here, you can actually find in Facebook :P

Met my disgusted partner-in-crime, Eberwein, last Friday for shopping
and then had a drink (or multiples) with Kryss at the place my boy works.

P.P.S. Okay, Red Bull makes my adrenaline rushes to every single nerves in my body. Hyper mode *jumps around*

Feeling Special

It started just like any other days, waking up early for class and then I thought it was just another normal day for me until Julius told me the veto had decided to have family dinner that night and made us clear up our hectic schedule for the dinner. He said Tristan had found a restaurant and decided to try there. All 14 of us packed ourselves into three cars: Tristan's, Natasha's and Pei Mei's. We ordered two different flavours of fish dishes: steamed and assam, two different types of vegetables and also a small claypot of pork. After the dinner, Tristan and Benedict disappeared off to nowhere and Julius disappeared too after he received a phone call. I asked Natasha where they went and she said they got some errands to do before Julius and Benedict had to leave for their meeting. Few moments later, everyone started to sing "Happy Birthday" song in loud voice while Tristan walked in with a slice of cake bought from Secret Recipe, and was escorted by Julius and Benedict. The fan's wind was too strong and the candles went off before the cake had the chance to be put in front of me. In the end, they told me to just make a wish and blew at the lighter. I was so shy and couldn't keep the silly smile off my face. There were so many people staring at the commotion. At that moment, I felt so special.

From left: Wendy, Vicky, Sarah, Pei Mei, Chengg,

Tristan, Benedict & Hui Ying.
I know I looked like shit in this picture but whatever XD

I am always the low profile person who seldom keep eye contact with people and I mostly keep to myself. It's not as if I'm autistic but I'm just an introvert with a crazy side once a person know me beyond the surface I'm portraying. I do not like to be in the center of attention and that is why I always write to express myself. It's a form of stress-venting, I guess? Anyhow, I do dream that I have a bunch of friends helping me celebrating birthday but it is always a fantasy, never come true. It is also my first time celebrating my birthday, the important 21 years old, legally adult day, away from home without parents or love. Yet, it is even more special than the one I had when I turned 16: the moment Kelly and DC asked me for an outing and bought a slice of cake for me to eat, and we celebrated it in Kopitiam Junction. I'm thoroughly touched and happy for all the efforts. Thank you so much for the cake too, Tristan :) Also, thank you everyone who wished me via video, phone calls, SMS-es, MMS-es, messenger, wechat, wall posts and also in person.

Babies

Classes had started for two weeks and surprisingly, it wasn't as unbearable as the last two semesters. The first semester, I had been in a wreck and thing slowly evened up in the second semester. New friends, new environment and my boy was constantly worried about me. I have more space to move about in the house I'm living now so it is more comfortable than locking myself in the room.

View from the door~
Guess which is my bed?
*cough cough*
Hint: Stitch.

View from the window~

I'm taking the red plastic chair place for my study :3
My room is at the furthest left.

I had a date with my love on Saturday, watching Maze Runner, with Kit Zai as the third wheel. Although he tagged along, he didn't shine brightly like "lightbulbs" did. Pun intended. Oh, I wanted to tell a short story of how I came to have this toy.

So, after our lunch, my boy declared that the outing will be ended because he wanted to go home since he was having stomachache. I told him not to fight over the toilet with me because my stomach ached too. In the end, I suggested we both used the toilet in Aeon 囧 So we left Kit Zai alone for some time and he came back with a toy, which my boy took from him and said, "Cheh, what for are you holding this? Give it to your sis lar~"... Okay, the toy was snatched from him actually. LOL. But he was willingly give me so... It was okay? XD

Summary: Satisfied, Contented and Being Cute :3

Love brought me to Aeon yesterday because he wanted to "buy cabbage" and we ended up walking into stores so he could get me a present. He confessed that he wanted to get me Toothless (that dragon from "How to Train Your Dragon") the size of Stitch he bought for me last year but there wasn't any. In the end, he forced me to get a watch (which I don't really need) and I loved the silver colour. So pure. So sparkly. So pretty.

And he brought me to Secret Recipe for a piece of cake because I hadn't have any lunch yet. At first I wanted to eat bread only but he said no T^T

 Yummy cake~

 Omnomnomnom~

Yummy boyfriend? HAHAHA~

Oh, I had two hedgehogs as pets and currently they are residing at his house because my house has no space for them. Introducing salt&pepper female hedgehog (left): Whiskey, and albino male hedgehog (right): Vodka. Yes, you heard them right. They are named after liquor. Hehehe~

And I'm turning legal tomorrow but I got class so... Yup, I will be rotting in Tanjung Malim, without family or love. *sniff sniff* There goes my birthday.
